Kitchen extensions in London
Rear, side-return and wraparound kitchen extensions, planned around cooking, dining and time together at home.
A kitchen with room for everyday life
A kitchen extension can give you more than a bigger kitchen: space to sit down together, a clear view of the garden and somewhere for everyone to gather without getting in the cook’s way. We build kitchen extensions across London, including rear, side-return and wraparound designs.
Make the layout work first
Before settling on an island or a wall of glass, think about a normal day at home. Where will you eat breakfast? Can someone get to the garden while the dishwasher is open? Is there enough storage? A plan with your actual furniture on it makes these decisions much easier.
Bring the kitchen and building plans together
Cabinets, extraction, sockets and plumbing all need to fit the building work. If you already have a kitchen designer or supplier, let us know. We can discuss the installation, deliveries and who is supplying what before orders are placed. Rooflights and garden doors can bring in more light, but leave room for cupboards, seating and privacy too.
Kitchen extensions we have built
Our Twickenham kitchen has green-framed garden glazing and white cabinetry. In Chiswick, a blue kitchen and yellow stools bring colour to a side-return extension. The Sheen and Ealing galleries offer other ways to connect cooking, dining and the original rooms.
Tell us what you have in mind
Send your postcode, a few photographs and any plans you already have. Tell us what frustrates you about the kitchen now and what you would like to change. You do not need to have every finish chosen before getting in touch.

Your questions
Is a kitchen extension the same as a side-return extension?
No. Kitchen extension describes the use of the room; side-return describes one way of extending the footprint. A kitchen can also sit in a rear or wraparound addition.
Can we use our own kitchen supplier?
Tell us who is designing, supplying and fitting the kitchen. We can discuss how those responsibilities and service positions fit the building work before orders are placed.
Do we have to remove every wall downstairs?
No. Consider which rooms need to remain separate, where storage belongs and how people move through the house. Structural changes must follow an appropriate assessment and design.
