Whole-house renovation in London

Refresh the rooms you have, rethink the layout and bring the whole home together.

Bring the whole house together

A whole-house renovation is a chance to put right the things that have never quite worked: awkward rooms, tired bathrooms, too little storage or a kitchen cut off from the rest of the home. We carry out house renovations across London, from changes to individual floors to work throughout the property.

Decide what stays and what changes

Walk through the house room by room. Think about the features you love, the rooms you use most and the changes that would make daily life easier. Keeping a good floor, staircase or fireplace can be as important as adding something new.

Get the building work in the right order

Changes to walls, wiring, plumbing and heating need to be planned before plastering and decoration. Kitchens, bathrooms and fitted joinery also have decisions and delivery dates to work around. Agreeing these early helps avoid opening up finished work later.

Living arrangements during the renovation

Some projects can be carried out in stages; others need the house to be empty for part of the work. We can discuss access, usable bathrooms, temporary kitchen arrangements and how completed rooms will be protected.

Your questions

Is a full refurbishment always a complete strip-out?

No. Agree what should be retained and assess the condition of the structure and services. A defined scope is more useful than assuming everything must be replaced.

Can we stay in the house?

That depends on safe access, usable facilities and the extent of the work. Discuss living arrangements before agreeing a programme; do not assume occupation will be practical throughout.

What should be included in the quotation?

The room layout, drawings, finishes, service changes, professional responsibilities, allowances, exclusions and owner-supplied items should be clear.
